International & premium manufacturer of cameras and sports optics is seeking a Sales Store Manager with at least 5-10 years experience.
**Primary tasks**:
- Oversee staffing: interviewing potential staff; conducting appraisals and performance reviews; and providing or organizing training and development
- Motivating sales team to increase sales and ensure efficiency
- Managing stock levels and making key decisions about stock control
- Development of Marketing strategy for the store in cooperation with the company marketing team
- Managing VIP relationships
- Analyzing sales figures and forecasting future sales volumes to maximize profits
- Executive management of weekly staff & training meetings
- Promoting the store and store website by liaising with corporate and third-party resources
- Ensuring that the local store website is up to date and price/product correct
- Support and supervise eCommerce set-up and operation
- Regular presence on the sales floor, motivating staff, selling, and identifying or resolving urgent issues
- Ensure POS operation, cash handling procedures and transactions are carried out accurately and all orders and paperwork are completed
- Occasional Duties as the General Manager of LATAM or Sales Director may at times, reasonably require
- Ensure store services and physical presentation is maintained at agreed standard
- Oversight and responsibility for inventory, database, shipping, consignment and loans, and collateral materials
- Prime key holder to store and point person for internal security
**Skills**:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Premium retail management experience (5 years minimum)
- Familiarity and ease with digital photography
- Advanced computer skills, including PC/Mac, MS Office Suite, POS Systems,
Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom and knowledge of website maintenance
