**Title**: Engineer Product Mechanical Design
**Primary Location**: Mexico (MX) - Monterrey N.L.
**Function**: Engineering (CA)
**Main Responsabilities**:
- Performs basic product design, testing and/or analysis work for a defined portion of a project. Operates in a team environment, providing input to design solutions and participating in design reviews.
- Solve problems and provide design solutions to enhance customer experience, implement new features, and deliver cost reduction.
- Executes test or analysis plan for product verification and validation.
- Develops recommendations within established guidelines; work and decisions are reviewed by supervisors before implementation.
- Analyzes assignments and determines engineering specifications which must be fulfilled for routine problems or projects.
- Learns and applies company engineering policies and practices; learns company products.
- Compiles and furnishes necessary information (engineering decisions and reports of pertinent design analyses data) to document the design solution required for building of prototypes and adoption of the design with possible involvement of other functional engineers, supply management and/or supplier personnel
**What Skills You Need**:
- Skill in using computer aided design and/or engineering tools.
- Skill in using company information systems and processes.
- Knowledge in engineering principles, theory and practice as well as product knowledge.
- Understanding of engineering principles as they relate to the company product
- Understanding of machine forms relevant to the specific job assignment and Company division/unit.
- Knowledge/familiarity with machines manufactured by competitors.
**What Makes You Stand Out**:
- Mechanical Design experience
- Experience using Creo Parametric
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience doing root cause analysis
- Understands the Enterprise Product Delivery Process (EPDP)
- Great communication skills
**Education**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Agricultural, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
