**What You Will Bring to the Team**:




The Cloud Security Engineer is responsible for providing advisory and solutions to our largest enterprise customers and helping them address their biggest security concerns. The security consultant identifies and prioritizes security-related requirements, promotes security-by-design principles, and facilitates the delivery of security services like security assessments, platform hardening and control implementation in cloud environments.
**Your Day-to-Day Activities**
- Analyzing existing cloud structures and creating new and enhanced security methods that will enhance the security of cloud-based environments.
- Responsible for keeping the infrastructure current, making recommendations, and participating in the implementation and continuous improvement of technologies and services in assigned information security domains.
- Performing security assessments to critical assets and infrastructure.
- Developing, applying, and maintaining best practices and controls around cloud environments.




- Collaborating with engineering and project related teams to align on and execute improvements to cloud infrastructure and cloud base systems.
- Interpret business requirements into security and technical requirements and communicate security risks to relevant stakeholders ranging from business leaders to engineers.
**Are you fit?**
- 4 years of experience implementing and configuring security architectures in AWS cloud services.
- Experience designing, and implementing IAM, data protection, network perimeters, monitoring, and incident management processes in cloud environments.
- Essential that applicants have the necessary technical skills to constantly monitor systems to identify threats and vulnerability, also executing security architecture, and avoid external threats and mitigate risks.
- Communication skills: In executing their duties,



cloud security engineers must communicate with different types of areas: business leader, customers, and co-workers. Also require excellent written, documentation and reporting skills.
- Must be organized, goal-oriented, and a self-starter.
- Aptitude to quickly learn new environments and technologies.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver results.
- Extreme ownership.
**Nice to Have**
- SOC background.
- SIEM (data dog, splunk) experience.
- Knowledge and experience with other cloud providers (Azure, GCP)
- DevSecOps principles and practices.
- Certifications like CCSP, CISSP, AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS Security Specialty, AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Professional, Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals, GIAC Cloud Security Essentials (GCLD),



Google Certified Associate Cloud Engineer or Google Certified Professional Cloud Architect or similar certification is a plus but not mandatory.
