The key priorities for the role include:Administer and supervise external sites.Takeover of part assemblies in large-scale projects.Work breakdown of site activities under supervisors' area of responsibility.The tasks and responsibilities for the role include:Plan daily assembly activities, regarding equipment and labor.Follow up project activities progress with the team and report project time performance.Handle 2D and 3D design software.Develop and review 3D designs: Piping, skids, vessels... that must be installed according to the flow diagrams and installation and process conditions.Work and review with design subcontractors.Ensure the correct installation of components and equipment.Manage mechanical contractors in assembly, examining and controlling planned hours and guiding construction progress announcements.Manage deliveries and shipments of materials, equipment, and storage during the project.Identify and report deviations and risks in project execution.Ensure compliance and development of the HSEQ requirements of GEA and the client.Be head of assembly quality.Manage customer relationships during mechanical supervision or assembly.Coordinate assembly with the project manager and customer.Estimate and plan assembly hours.Supervise the safety status of the tools on site within responsible team.Support commissioning.Be responsible for documentation on site (small projects):Reporting on site activitiesProgress reportsHSE reportsBudget and forecasting reports.Provide mechanical support to the components and equipment installed during the installation phase of the project and if applicable in commissioning.Create and maintain comprehensive project management documentation.Your Profile / QualificationsBe part of the projects during the different phases of mechanical engineering (planning, design, execution, commissioning, and closing) to review, validate, adjust, or propose ideas or solutions for effective continuity or improvements.
Travel will be required, involving periods on sites throughout the year (up to 70% travelling time expected).Experience & CompetenciesExperience in leading a regional site, as proven by a strong sense of achievement; able to drive projects forward, expect good standards of work, tenacious, and able to overcome barriers/solve problems.Knowledge of local environment, culture, and rules
