We are looking to hire a contract Full Stack Web Developer located in Mexico.
This is a remote position that can have a flexible schedule but will require a 40 hour work week.
Penstock offers 7 paid holidays and 12 vacation days per year.
**Responsibilities and duties**:- Collaboration with developers to implement a new web feature- Keep up with the latest technology and programming trends.- Use user feedback to identify and correct problems with a customer's website.- Work closely with marketing and development teams to execute and maintain a consistent image across platforms.- Work with web development team to keep servers and software packages up to date- Suggests and makes improvements to existing web properties- Perform cross-browser QA testing on websites while managing tasks in Azure DevOps with team members- Perform analysis and provide recommendations of software requirements to determine design feasibility- Review previous projects and extract code for future use**Highly required**:- Bilingual in English.
TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) 75+.
English language listening and speaking skills at a basic professional level.- Writing and reading skills in English at intermediate/advanced professional level.
**Required Skills**:- Experience / training as a Full Stack Developer- Juggle multiple projects and manage tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment- Experience working with a CMS- HTML, CSS/SASS, JavaScript,
Git- Experience writing unit tests, performing code reviews, or root cause analysis- Experience with JavaScript and/or any JS library (Angular, React, Vue)- Experience with C# (.NET Core) or another similar language (Java or Typescript/NodeJS)- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic- Solid understanding of the principles of web design and development.- Graphic design experience is a plus**Preferred skills**:- Exposure to SQL Server or other similar databases.- Exposure to the Azure or AWS cloud.- Exposure to Entity Framework or any other ORM tool.
