PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Your are in charge of the management of all the warehouses leaders/supervisors of the project Tren Maya and also in charge of the management of the principal warehouse of Mérida (the distribution warehouse).
Taking care of the execution, physically and in the information system, of the counts & movements of materials.
Your main target is to align physical flow & system flow.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
Main Responsibilities
Ensure that employees operate in an environment that complies with company Health, Safety and Environmental policies
Ensure the storage of materials, guarantee the quantities stored and the correct storage conditions.
Ensure the material availability, integrity & delivery on time on production line
Manage the physical material flows (reception, putaway, kitting, mirror area, shipping) to always keep physical and system flows aligned
Ensure the kits/materials arrive on time to the corresponding warehouse
Support to the logistic team (international and national)
Ensure the ERP solution is implemented and correctly used by Logistics operators
Work closely with Warehouse Key User to manage the stock in the ERP system according to the core model and to train Logistics operators
Monitor & challenge the performance of each warehouse activity through Key Performance Indicators
Management
Management of the warehouses leaders of the project Tren Maya
Ensure every warehouse of the project is align with the global project vision
Ensure all the warehouses send on time the require monthly reports
Ensure the good results of each of the sites Provide a long-term vision to the team, set yearly objectives and targets, support and coach in achieving these targets and objectives, perform performance appraisals, reward and recognize merits, set and follow up team members development plans and induction program for newcomers
Ensure Logistics Operators follow ALSTOM warehouse processes
Manage Logistics Operators & aligned team members activities to the warehouse workload
Manage 3PL and logistic partners (manage costs, budget, invoices; define targets, monitor activities )
Operational activities
Put in place mirror area in the warehouse to optimize line feeding activities (Kanban flow, sequence,)

Plan and manage material receipt, inbound transportation, stock entry, picking and kitting, line feeding, packing, shipping, outbound transportation, inventory accuracy, scrap process
Respect any specific storage regulations (chemicals, battery,)
Secure inventory accuracy and organize physical counting activities (both cycle counting and wall to wall)
Ensure the continually improvement of the warehouse organisation & processes
Analyse the Root Causes of any logistic issues and agree with the internal stakeholders and the Management of the 3PL on corrective actions.
Follow up on these actions and participate in their realization
MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCES
Educational Requirements
**Mandatory**:
College degree in business, industrial engineering or similar
English (50%)
Spanish (mother tongue or bilingual)
**Desirable**:
Lean Six Sigma Knowledge
Experience
**Mandatory**:
At least 5 years' experience in warehouse management
Experience and use of ERP SAP
DC3 Licence
Experience in operation of lift truck and warehouse tools
**Desirable**:
Valuable experience in companies of same sector/activity or related.
