Logistics Strategic Category BuyerA Logistics Strategic Category Buyer's responsibility is to purchase logistics services while considering price, quality, and delivery to ensure continuity of supply.
You will hold responsibility for all specific category within the Indirect Purchasing Team.
You will negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, SOW's and commercial requirements that meet internal stakeholder's objectives and overall category strategy.
You will directly interact with your internal stakeholders and with external vendors.
You will familiarize yourself with Autoliv's supply base and work with internal stakeholders,
and Global Category Management to create and execute Category Strategies.What you'll do:• Develop category strategies, secure customer alignment, and execution• Develop strong relationships with internal Business partners• Drive cost-saving initiatives to align with company goals• Support of Global Category Strategies, Management, and key initiatives• Conduct competitive bids• Lead assigned sourcing projects and drives them to successful completion, including market analysis, the RFX process, negotiations, contract creation, and contract management.• Identify and gain alignment to pursue new savings/value add opportunities What is required:• BS or BA in Purchasing, SCM, Engineering or other business-related field• 5+ years of purchasing experience for the logistics area• Good working knowledge of ERP purchasing systems, PPT, Word, Excel (pivot tables)• Negotiations and standard purchasing practices• Data analysis• Excellent verbal and written communication skills• Demonstrates Business Acumen What's in it for you:•Attractive compensation package•Flexible Options (schedule, remote work)•Recognition awards, company events, family events,
