**Description**:- **100% Remote position**:- **Must have prior exprience in insurance verification in the US.
**:- **Full-time and Part-time positions are available**:- **Pay is based on experience**:- Responsible for verifying insurance, benefits, and patient responsibility for all patients referred to PAD Specialists.- Obtain necessary referrals/authorizations for services to ensure a clean billing process.- Responsible for accurately documenting the benefits within the EMR/EHR system.- Work closely with insurance companies, referring physician offices, billing, and other departments.- Work on appeals for claim denials and/or authorization denials along with physicians and insurance companies.
The IV must be detail-oriented,
a self-starter, and have good communication skills.
**Requirements**:- **18-month minimum commitment required**:- **MUST reside in the central time zone or a similar time zone to be considered for this position.
**:- Insurance verification experience within the last two years is required- A+ customer service-oriented attitude and charisma- Tech savviness- Drug screens and background check- Maturity, good judgment, and a proactive mind, anticipate and preempt problems (rather than simply react to them)- Spirit of continuous improvement -- strive to grow, improve, and learn... both professionally and personally, every single day, and to help the Company do the same- All employees are expected to perform as an integral part of the PADS team, and to provide supplemental support as requested, required, or assigned.- Bachelor's > Associate's > Current college -- are a plus but not required**About PAD Specialists**:We are a rapidly growing chain of outpatient medical offices specializing in diagnosing and treating Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD).
We have multiple facilities; Texas -- Houston, SugarLand, The Woodlands, Pasadena, Beaumont, Victoria, Corpus Christi, Edinburg, Brownsville, Laredo, Austin, Dallas, and El Paso.
As well as in Little Rock, AR.
