Join us in our mission to combat global injustice.We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Deputy Business Development Manager to lead our ride-hailing vertical in Mexico.
The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating marketing strategies, overseeing driver operations, and analyzing supply and demand to drive growth across key cities.
This role is pivotal in the strategy and budget management for Mexico, our largest market in GMV, and requires an in-depth understanding of the local market.
The candidate will manage a team of Business Development professionals, with expected growth, and work cross-functionally to implement solutions, collaborating closely with marketing and driver teams without direct reporting lines.
This hybrid role is based in Mexico, with occasional office visits.Note: ONLY CVs in English will be consideredWhat you will do:Monitoring Ride Hailing KPIs from both sides of the marketplace (national and city level, including competitive monitoring)Strategic leadership & project management.
Project leadership of key Ride Hailing cross-functional projects (new Tariff launches, new Schemes, Bonuses, new Partnerships etc.
)Development of a country networkDaily PMO of a business rhythm actions (cross-functional - local calendars, including events coordination)Responsible for budgeting in his region with help of Manager.
Supports Manager in Business & KPIs planningCompetent & effective communication with X-Fn Stakeholders from various departments, Users and representatives from different countriesPartner with critical functional areas (Product,
Marketing, BD, Policy, Ops, Legal, Tax, etc.)
as needed, to drive business objectivesProduct feedback.
Convince, align and monitor central features roll-outControl Launch plan in the country & contribute to the Launch PlaybookAbility to estimate risks from GR / legal perspective and execute Action items and work with GR/Legal to plan mitigation strategy.
Ad-hoc involvement in projects (Corporate functions: GR/Legal, tax, etc)Hire, manage and develop a super sharp, talented and motivated team up to 4 employeesYour Impact in RoleDevelop the short term execution plan to deliver in year targets, as well as the long term Growth strategy to deliver the plans.Recommend and execute on key pilots and growth accelerator XPs,
and develop business cases to get cross functional buy-in and supportLead discussions with marketing and Operations on the development and closing of new partnerships to acquire new consumers relevant to the productsRequirements:5+ years of relevant work experience (Ride Hailing/Delivery Business Preferred, management consulting,operations, etc.)
