If you're looking for a career where you can make a real impression, join GSC HSBC and discover how valued you'll be.We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of**Financial Planning Manager****Role purpose**:The role will support the GSC Mexico process in the MI submissions, analysis vs. Target & Forecast, preparation of MI packs and other key metrics for the entity.
The role will also include support to the Financial Controller of GSC Mexico on a day-to-day basis for financial analysis and other Adhoc support**Main activities**:- Reporting numbers in TM1 with Nil exceptions in numbers & Timelines- Nil URIs between TM1 & SARACEN - Coordinate with SARACEN team for required action- Preparation of MI Pack and other metrics reports for GSC Mexico- To effectively Support Business Performance- financial control and reporting- Build analytical capability and be capable to drive automation in the process- Have full knowledge about the process and cost-drivers and be able to prepare insightful commentary.- Continue and enhance relationship partnering - Develop stronger relationships within teams and across functional & regional teams.- Adhere to Group timelines for delivery.
Deliver and Support "Better and Faster"- Provide significant support in the planning, LE and forecasting exercise.- Timely updating SOP on periodic basis- Open for Adhoc requests and ensure to deliver as per agreed timelines- Ensure all activities are reviewed internally before publish to various stakeholders- Contribute in adhoc projects on need basis.- Timely updating of the Performance management tools.- SOPs of the process to be kept updated.- Maintain adhoc activities tracker.- Ensure proper cross training and backup planning.- Effective leave planning.Accounting consolidation processes- Preparation of journal entries- Prepare & review GL reconciliations, account movement analysis- Preparation of local financial statements as well as other Mexican local reports (eg.
Inversion Extranjera, INEGI, Electronic Accounting, Transfer Pricing Study, to mention some)- Manage internal and external audit requirements for financial audits- Embed workflow tool to develop and monitor key metrics to enable 1) continuous management, and improvement, of efficient processes; and 2) provide facts tokey stakeholders as requiredRequirements**Knowledge & Experience**- Graduation / Post Graduation/ Professional qualification in Accounting- Strong accounting knowledge with prior experience of handling finance control teams- Logical, Conceptual & analytical thinking
