Logistics Manager to drive and implement logistics procurement strategies in a manufacturing environment.
Will be responsible for activities related to strategic purchasing of logistics across company business units.
This position reports to the Global Director of Logistics Procurement at the corporate office.What You Will DoParticipate in the development and execution of the global logistics procurement strategy for over $400m freight spendManage and develop supply base to achieve cost reductions and further freight strategyManage and source carriers for modes including ocean freight, air freight, LTL, truckload, and parcelSupplier negotiation and contract managementWork with cross functional team including logistics operations in sourcing decisions and to ensure supply continuityWhat You NeedBachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related (required)10 plus years' experience in Purchasing and LogisticsDemonstrated history of purchasing modes of transportation at a large scaleStrong experience with procurement, air, ocean, truckload, parcel and 3PLStrong negotiation skills, vendor and contract management experienceWhat Makes You EligibleBe willing to travel up to 25%If working remote, be able to travel within 24 hours to a manufacturing locationWhat We OfferAccess to employee discounts on world-class Harman and Samsung products (JBL, HARMAN Kardon, AKG, etc.
