ExemptPosition overview:**Responsibilities**:- Build test frameworks and methodologies that will define the testing process used as part of the agile software development process.- Work closely with the software development team to identify and correct defects.- Develop and maintain test cases for validation test of software revisions.- Document and report testing and remediation activities in accordance with Insulet standard operation procedures and compliance requirements.- Collaborate with Development, QA and IT teams- Participate in product design reviews.- Performs other duties as required.Preferred Skills and Competencies- Ability to read and understand source code- Strong understanding of HTTP/S, TLS, and REST protocols.- Proficiency with source control, continuous integration and testing methods.- In depth knowledge of software testing methodology, test development, and test execution.- Familiarity with Linux and/or UnixEducation and Experience- BS in Software Engineering,
Computer Science or similar field.- 5 - 8 years of experience in software design and software testing- Experience working with multiple stakeholders such as engineering/operations teams during the software development lifecycle.- Possess strong writing and communication skills.NOTE: This position is eligible for 100% remote working arrangements (may work from home/virtually 100%; may also work hybrid on-site/virtual as desired).
