We are looking for an experienced data engineer/analyst to support data extraction, integrations, ETL processes and reporting/dashboards.
This engineer/analyst knows reports and data nuances are important, but it's the deep analysis and curation of the full story you find exciting.
You're versed in business and marketing analytics standard processes and strategies, allowing you to turn a complex analysis into a digestible and actionable story.
You are strategic minded and offer suggestions and well-thought plans to enhance reporting and self-serve capabilities for the analytics team.




Astute at simplifying the sophisticated is a vital skill in this role and you should have outstanding communication skills and can effectively communicate sophisticated processes and issues to business partners.
You enjoy diving into the data, questioning results, addressing issues, enhancing, curating and being creative with data.
Your data sets will be diverse - at times complex and unstructured - but your unique viewpoints, experience, and teammates will keep you grounded and help you navigate.
The data will range in systems from numerous sources (including, but not limited to, digital, offline, sales, revenue, loyalty, BI, CRM, data cubes, AWS tools).
Curiosity, critical-thinking, and persistence are key.
Self-assessment and a continual growth mindset are required, as the analytics field constantly changes.
You also enjoy sharing your knowledge via brainstorming, guidance or documentation of standard processes from analytics perspectives.
You are comfortable with unstructured datasets, discovering ways to integrate new data sources, and strive to assist the team in efficient access to cleansed and consistent data.
You strive for efficient,



quality work and are willing to continually improve your knowledge of new data engineering technologies (API connections, Power BI releases, programming languages, etc.)
**Requirements**:

- Experience in creating reports from data integration to visualization and then ongoing maintenance/enhancements
- Bilingual (English - Spanish)
- Effective documentation of projects/processes and ability to explain them to others
- Strong graphics and visualization aesthetics to convey messages simply and impactfully
- Excellent prioritization and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated to seek out guidance when requirements are vague
- Own and deliver projects and reports associated with divisional marketing KPIs and diagnostics
- Detailed/thorough QA of data/reports ensuring alignment comparisons when necessary
- Work with other engineers/analysts to assist with data integrations,



report troubleshooting, and enhancements
- Stay involved with many aspects of the technical development, user experience design, and architecture of automate reporting
- Leverage data integrations using AWS Athena, Redshift, Cognos, SharePoint and Power BI Services among other technologies
- Propose development optimizations and implement to deliver solutions and enhanced reporting capabilities
- Provide timely and consistent updates and recommendations on dataflow and data pipeline operational issues and enhancements to team and partners
- Become a domain expert of data sources used by the Analytics team (Sales Force, Adobe Analytics, Redshift, internal databases, etc.)

- Consult data source owners to understand and document data collection and reporting processes




- Growing understanding of business context/impact of data used
- Champion data quality and integrity through proactive sleuthing and oversight
- Establish alerts for data connection issues both technical and beyond expected thresholds (anomalies)
- Technical guidance and questioning of requests to prioritize and optimize the most useful data visualizations
- Collaborate and cultivate relationships with business partners to continue strengthening our team's profile
- Research, documentation, and communication of standard methodologies, updates, developments, etc.
- Influence and maintain strong and healthy team culture through active involvement, inclusion, and leadership
- Brainstorm strategic and forward-thinking initiatives (e.g.
roadmap, team process/structure, philosophy)




- Proactive self-education and contribution to advance our analytics practices, methods, and strategy

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree or above required
- 3+ years experience in a data analytics or engineering role with a solid understanding of technical, business and operational process requirements
- Marketing analyst experience is a plus
- PowerBI (or similar visualization tool)
- Advanced MS Excel preferred
- Python knowledge (basic accepted)
- Intermediate SQL

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Ability to support and train teammates on data integration and visualization creation
- Adobe Analytics (preferred, but similar accepted)
- Statistics and data science familiarity (or interest)
- Ability to analyze trends associated with huge
