We are building the first marketing platform for schools.
Thrillshare, our publishing platform, makes it easy for schools to share positive stories with their communities and the world.

Apptegy works with thousands of schools and school districts across the United States.
For the past 6 years, we've been working on making our technology a breath of fresh air.
School leaders, superintendents, and administrators have some of the most stressful and demanding jobs in the world.
They are responsible for the safety, well-being, and education of thousands of students.
Every day they juggle the roles of politician, disciplinarian, visionary, and accountant.
In short, we are enabling school leaders to brand, market, and strengthen their schools.
Amazing events and happenings occur in schools every day and our technology allows that to be shared across web, mobile, social media, and alerts with a single, simple-to-use tool.
**As an Experienced DevOps Engineer you will**:
- Support and enhance our CI/CD process so devs can compile, test, and deliver software safely and predictably with high velocity.
- Manage our deployment environments from dev to production and drive the conversation on how code moves between them.
- Understand releases, feature flags, and how to get code out of the door regularly.
- Be a strong advocate for DevOps culture and support the various needs of a busy engineering team.
- Be hands-on with AWS infrastructure including the latest provisioning and observability trends.
- Work with highly scalable architectures and have some feeling for the tradeoffs.
- Be a problem solver and a friendly supporting personality for devs on both the front-end, backend, and mobile.
- This is an exciting opportunity for someone to focus on DevOps exclusively and work closely with a friendly group of engineers building technology that has a direct impact on school kids' lives.
**What you should bring to the table**:
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Software Developer or DevOps Engineer and able to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of cloud-based services and infrastructure.
- Generalist Linux skills are always super useful to us.
- Any build pipeline systems, we're interested in Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Bitrise.
- Infrastructure As Code - CloudFormation, Terraform.
- App Logging and Monitoring - CloudWatch, ELK Stack, Grafana, Prometheus, Open Tracing, AppSignal.
- Distributed Systems and Containers experience
- Docker, Kubernetes, Helm.
