Fitch's Structured Finance team in Mexico is responsible for the credit ratings of local and international public and private securitizations, backed by a wide array of assets (consumer, equipment leases, residential mortgage, commercial mortgage, among others).
In addition,
the team oversees the operational ratings for a portfolio of Mexican Loan Servicers.Key ResponsibilitiesAssign and review ratings on various structured finance transaction types, including ABS, RMBS, CMBS and Future Flows.Model cash flows, review legal documentation, conduct collateral analysis, prepare credit committee reports, and communicate credit opinions to investors and issuers.Assign and review operational risk ratings for Loan Servicers.Develop independent credit and operational views, analyze performance trends and macro trends, and demonstrate strong communication skills (written and verbal).What We OfferAbility to grow your presence in Structured Finance, along with the breadth and depth of your capabilities across different sectors, asset classes, structures and markets.Get involved with Fitch's tools, models and criteria throughout different asset classes.Access to a wide variety of market participants, from securitization companies to investors and arrangers.Be part of an excellent and supportive team of analysts.A rewarding role that is essential for the debt capital markets to make more informed decisions via timely,
insightful and forward-looking rating actions and research.What You Need to HaveBachelor's degree in economics, finance, engineering or a business-related field with focus in Finance.Previous experience in credit analysis or within the financial industry.Excellent project management skills and ability to effectively coordinate development of dynamically changing performance analytics needs.Proven database management and macro-development skills.Strong communication and presentation skills, verbal and written, both in English and Spanish.Quantitative and analytical thinking.Attention to detail, organizational and time management skills.Ability to actively participate in meetings conducted in English and Spanish, and read and comprehend legal documents.Team orientation, with ability to effectively build relationships both externally and internally.What Would Make You Stand OutDirect experience with securitization,
