**:
The Head of MELA Sourcing CU LATAM North & Caribbean reports to the Head of Sourcing Market Area Europe & Latin America (MELA) and dotted line to the Head GCU AMTEL CU LATAM North & Caribbean.
The Head of Sourcing CU LATAM North & Caribbean is a member of the MELA Sourcing Leadership Team as well as a member of the MELA GCU AMTEL CU LATAM North & Caribbean Leadership Team.

**You will be responsible for the following key priorities**:

- Lead the Purchasing Unit within MELA GCU AMTEL CU LATAM North & Caribbean and its geographical scope.
- Promote business opportunities based on optimized value extraction through partnering,



supplier innovation, market insight and Sourcing strategies.
- Through early and proactive engagement, collaborate with Stakeholders and Sourcing functions, translating product/customer solution requirements into strategies and 3rd party business solutions, leading sourcing plans, driving cost and delivery performance.
- Ensure effective management of total spend, drive excellence in cost, supplier efficiency and quality in line with the profitability targets of the company
- Drive and support the improvement of our WCAP in the unit through improvement of payment days with third party suppliers
- Actively engage and support MELA Domains, Sourcing Category teams as well as other Market Area stakeholders on specific sales opportunities and business readiness requirements.
Ensure alignment and collaboration with the Global Category managers
- Drive supplier business intelligence, benchmarking practice & category market knowledge, establishing an efficient & driven marketplace
- Define and drive Sourcing vision, strategy,



and related targets in alignment with stakeholders and category strategies.
- Build a successful team and set ways of working that are efficient and effective following Ericsson's leadership framework.
This includes, but is not limited to individual's performance management, competence development, salary and rewards, recognition, and overall well-being.
- Demonstrate and role model the Ericsson core values, and ethical and responsible business practices.
- You will lead a team across several countries within Latin America.
The base location for this position is Mexico.
Some travel is required.

**What you will bring**:

- University Degree in Administration, Economics or Technology
- 10+ years Sourcing experience in various sourcing domains
- Validated experience in Telecommunications
- Proficient knowledge of Sourcing Process and Strategy




- Strong negotiation experience - either as a customer or a supplier
- Confirmed leadership behaviours, including leading diverse and cross countries teams
