**Job Description Summary**:Our team, ADT(Advanced Design Tools), works with engineering teams from GE Aviation, GE Power and GE Renewables to help them unleash productivity by developing and maintaining software engineering solutions.
Our current portfolio includes different types of solutions (services, web apps, desktop apps, API's) using a broad tech stack (Java, Python, C/C++, C#, Qt, Kotlin, Fortran, Matlab, Angular, Vue, Dockers, Kubernets, MySQL, Postgress, Spring and others) and different types of hosting including AWS Clouding and in house PaaS solutions.

**Roles and Responsibilities**- Work with a global team to identify opportunities on Continuous Integration pipeline and to implement good practices in our current development process- Take requirements, design, implementation, tests and deliver software using best software development standards- Skilled in writing code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project.- Work together with development and functional team, from different engineering teams, using Agile methodologies as an effective collaboration way to ensure deliveries on time and with the expected quality.
**Required Qualifications**- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience- Experience in Software Development Life Cycle- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and experience with at least one object-oriented programming language such as Java/Python- A minimum of 2 years of DevOps experience at least in Continuous Integration- A minimum of 2 years of experience with the following tools: Git/Github, Jenkins, Maven, SonarQube, Dockers or other similar- Experience with Agile software development- Self-learner with aptitude for acquiring knowledge, skills, and new technologies readily.- English oral and written skills- Strong problem-solving skills**Desired Characteristics**- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills- Strong team player - collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sources.- Ability to work independently.- Adaptive to ambiguity and available approach to working in a changing environment**Additional Information**:**Relocation Assistance Provided**:No
