**Global Ocean Capacty Planning Associate Manager (L09)**The Global Ocean Capacity Planning Specilaist will conduct data analysis of global ocean shipping requirements, and build models to forecast ocean capacity requirements enabling more proactive, accurate and consistent ocean freight execution activities for both procurement and ocean excellence teams.
The role will focus on current PepsiCo managed Ocean freight operations while building new capabilities to scale and expand ocean freight operations to supplier-managed operations in close coordination with I/E procurement capability.
Deep analytics and forecasting of capacity requirements will help the business assess and mitigate risks associated with capacity planning scenarios, include historical and future inputs, and leverage market and industry research.
Complex scenario planning and forecast models will drive better decision making**Responsibilities**:**Responsibilities**:- Proactively measure and manage ocean freight capacity globally working with I/E Procurement, carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and various sector representatives- Managing global Ocean capacity with for sectors supporting all Import-Export shipments at optimal rates by working closely with the I/E Procurement, Supply Chain, and Finance functions
