**About our team**:Edelman's Technology team is seeking a dynamic Account Executive to join our team of talented and collaborative communications professionals focused on today's biggest trends.
In this role, you will support key clients in the tech practice and demonstrate strong communication skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-based environment and a passion for creativity and emerging technologies shaping our world.
**Basic Qualifications**:- BA in Communication, Public Relations,
or related fields.- 1-2 years of experience in Communications and/or Public Relations.- Strong writing and editing skills.- Ability to develop media contacts/relationships.- A comprehensive understanding of traditional and online communication strategies.- Fully Bilingual (English - Spanish).- Experience working with Tech PR accounts (desirable).
**Key Responsibilities**:- Executes corporate and consumer communication and PR strategies for technology accounts.- Manages media relations by identifying and working with target media and demonstrating a network of traditional and online media contacts.- Writes press materials and internal communications.- Pitches press materials to journalists to interest them in covering our clients' stories.- Identifies and promotes excellent relations with key stakeholders (ie.
media, clients).- Executes Communications Marketing tactics by managing workflow, logistics, and interaction with media.Edelman is a global communications firm that partners with businesses and organizations to evolve, promote and protect their brands and reputations.
