**What you will bring to the team**
This position would be the temporary back fill of our current Account Analyst III (Compliance Senior Accounting Mexico) for Mexico that will start a maternity leave at the beginning of April. This position has the responsibility for ensuring to provide the appropriate information for preparation of all taxes (indirect and direct), financial compliance, and related filings of each of them to the corresponding entity government. So, all obligations mentioned are completed on time and proper manner, without penalty. This position should be held by one person that must be self-motivated and be able to work independently to back up and support the Mexican Accounting and Compliance Manager, to whom this position directly reports.

- Responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:
- Prepare financial statements and information under Mexican standards. Including the preparation of the Deferred Taxes
- Conversion of FS from USGaap to Mexgaap. Reconcile accounting records (corporate system vs local system).
- Develop and follow all the policies related to the accounting, tax, and financial area.
- Record company transactions on the local system. As well as develop and control the electronic accounting (recons the monthly expenses and revenue invoice with the tax authority information).
- Support the data requirements of external and internal audits and consultants.
- Prepared the monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for legal local purposes (tax, legal and labor). As well as prepare and release procedures at government agencies.
- Perform reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts.
- Support in the preparation for headquarter financial reporting, including the annual and monthly budgets.
- Participate in meetings of Financial Management to analyze the information.
- Prepare, participate, reconcile and control of physical inventory process (materials and fixed assets) and the cost of sales.
- Register and control of foreign trade transactions and transactions with related parties (Prepare and review the files and tax/accounting back up).
- Support in the compliance related with the New Labor Reform.
- Assist in the development of various tasks of any project or activity in the area.
**Naturally To be successful in this role, you must have and know of**
- Bachelor of Accounting, 6 years or more of relevant experience in similar functions in tax and accounting (coordinator).
- Experience with electronic accounting requirements and Mexican financial standards.
- Experience and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
- Must be a collaborator who works in a team, but able to work independently and under pressure.
- Experience with direct and indirect taxes, including the preparation of monthly, annual returns, informative declarations, review of legal and tax requirements for Mexican companies.
- Experience with payroll / employee related taxes and international trade regulations.
- General knowledge of labor reform.
- Experience of payroll process mainly related with taxes.
- Extensive experience using Microsoft Excel for the hands-on data analyst.
Desirable:
- Experience in transfer pricing and intercompany activities
- Experience of the technology company and in the use of Oracle ERP
- Experience in International Trade (reviewing in and out bound documents and the corresponding backups)
- Experience in an accounting / tax firm
