Join our dynamic team as a Program Manager!
The Role of Program Manager, with primary responsibility as a SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE), will allow you to be part of this exciting team.
You will be able to use your program management / Agile expertise to facilitate, coach, and empower this very highly skilled and diverse team in delivering value, and help drive relentless improvement using SAFe methodology and Planning.
**What You'll Do**

The Program Manager will primarily spend their time as a SAFe RTE for Agile Release Trains (ARTs).




It might also include some other project management responsibilities such as team engagement, team communication, process improvement activities.
The SAFe RTE role is the primary servant-leader on an Agile Release Train (ART).
Experienced program managers will be considered for training to become a SAFe RTE.
As a **Program Manager in the RTE Role **you will:

- Manage programs / projects simultaneously to successful completion
- SAFe RTE:

- Be a servant leader and coach for the ART
- Facilitate the ART events and processes
- Assist the teams in delivering value
- Facilitate removal of impediments to help the ART and the teams to deliver business values via committed PI objectives
- Engage and communicate with OAL and business stakeholders, help manage risk, and drive relentless improvement
- Synchronize within the ART and across other ARTs
- Work closely with AI Apps development teams, product development, and other stakeholders to mitigate risks, resolve issues, and remove impediments
- Track and communicate program, project, and ART metrics and risks/issues




- Flexibility of work hours for early morning or evening calls in (PDT/PST) may be requested during PI Planning (quarterly event)

**Requirements**:

- 5 to 7 years of diverse project/program or project manager, RTE, or scrum master experience in a fast-paced, software development environment
- Demonstrated SAFe knowledge and SAFe implementation experience
- Demonstrated servant leader approach with a "help get the job done attitude" to assist peers and project team members to smooth out process issues and overcome project obstacles
- Possesses strong communication and analytical skills and a thorough understanding of product development and product management
- Excellent interpersonal skills, good with people, and ability to negotiate
- Knowledge on product management, software development, DevOps, CICD, and Agile methodologies




- Confident team player who views himself/herself as a committed and involved participant in teams' undertakings and has a proven track record of team building and process improvement successes

**Skills**:

- Experience in Program Management role and RTE SAFe role
- Excellent collaborative skills with an ability to interact with leaders in a multisite environment
- Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills
- Passion around facilitation / coaching / and Team empowerment
- Self-starter, motivated and ambitious.

**Education, certification, & training experience**:

- BS/BA degree required
- SAFe, Agile or similar certification/training is a plus.

Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products.
Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending.
Monitor the project from initiation through delivery.




Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints.
Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.
