**UX Content Designer**

**Role Purpose**:
The content designer is responsible for creating, evaluating, updating and reviewing content at all stages of the end-to-end user journeys in digital channels, leveraging UX principles and data to deliver an optimal user experience.
Content designer researches the audience to design effective content for them, serving as advocate for users in the engineering and design processes, to make it simple to find the content they need.
**Main responsibilities**:

- Design the conversational elements of the interfaces of our digital products.
- Writing clear, usable content that is appropriate for the audience and purpose.
- Optimize copy and content to achieve clear and simple interactions.




- Improve the messages of the interfaces to avoid friction between the product and the user.
- Standardize the language of digital products following the "tone of voice" guidelines established by HSBC Group.
- Locate (tropicalize) the content that comes directly from global to generate content that is understandable for our Mexican audience.
- Execute UX writing practices and standards for the evaluation and realization of copy, aligned with UX heuristics.
- Participate and assist during the Design Thinking process for the creation or improvement of digital assets including copy, narrative and content.
- Create the narrative (storytelling) of our digital prospects.
- Identify needs, opportunities or improvements of digital assets.
- Promote the understanding of the user experience strategy within the needs of our clients to improve or create digital assets as well as experiences.
- Plan and manage the integration of content, assuring excellent quality control of the copies, as well as validate the effectiveness in its implementation through research,



analysis and user tests to define improvement actions that optimize it.
- Keep up-to-date on studies, benchmarks, trends, competitors, success stories inside and outside the financial industry, new technologies and innovation.

- Foster a customer-first view and approach to our channel experience, advocating for significant changes whenever necessary and working with stakeholders to enable enhancements.
- Drive a culture of high performance and empowerment through effective management activities and drive up stakeholders engagement by taking action against agreed priorities in identified action plan,
- Foster a diverse, inclusive and open environment,
- Drive teamwork and collaboration,
- Working to the highest ethical and moral standards of research and design practice, promoting inclusive design practice at all levels.
- Provide support/guidance/management in all levels,
- Promote innovation mindset and incentivize exchange of best practices.




- Collaborate in transformation programmes to deliver best in class standards in managing and mitigating risks,
- Maintain and observe all HSBC control standards and implement and observe the Group Compliance Policy, including the timely implementation of recommendations made by internal/external auditors and external regulators.
**Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Fluency in English and Spanish.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, design thinking and customer journey mapping.
- Relevant experience in creating Copy and digital content.
- Team player with high energy, ability to manage multiple and simultaneous initiatives.
- Performance under pressure.
- Passionate about creating human-centred solutions.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- Understanding of customer needs and trends,



combined with an inquisitive passion for thinking about future needs.
- Experience in participating in online and offline workshops using design thinking.
- Proven history of delivering results on time.
- Accustomed to working collaboratively with cross-functional team members.
- Strong desire and capability to learn and adapt, and demonstrated business knowledge.
- In addition, other nice to have knowledge and experience include:

- Experience in ideation, creation and implementation of digital products and services.
- Experience in a global organization in financial industries, working across cultures
