- To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add an _Engineering Director _located in _Guadalajara, North Campus_._
- Reporting to the Sr Director, Operations Engineering,
Engineering Director role involves_ _working on the activities related to the technical support and process development engineering functions of a manufacturing area.
Plans and implements the development of new and scale-up process formulas.
Establishes operating equipment specifications and acts as a liaison with product design and development to ensure processes and designs are compatible.
Leads efforts to achieve cost effectiveness and improved product quality.
Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function._
What a typical day looks like:
- _
Direct and control the activities of a broad functional area through several senior Manufacture engineering leaders involved in activities related to process engineering capabilities and statistical process control systems._
- _
Organize and lead Project/Program reviews to ensure projects are delivered on time, as per cost targets and within quality specifications._
- _
Partner with other functional leaders to ensure_ manufacture-engineering_ activities are well integrated with manufacturing operations._
- _
Provide guidance and feedback to subordinate leaders to ensure achievement of goals and objectives._
- _
Plan, budget, and manage the Manufacture Engineering, Facilities, Maintenance and NPI group costs in line with corporate objectives._
- _
Develop, modify, and implement company policies that affect immediate operation(s) and may also have company-wide effect._
- _
Regularly interact with executives and/or major customers in controversial situations, contract negotiations or other matters for which influence skills are required._
The experience we're looking to add to our team:

Experience managing operations & engineering in electronic manufacturing_
- _
Strong background in engineering positions_
- _
BA/BS/MBA or equivalent work experience_
- _
Strong Knowledge in Industrial Engineering_
- _
Experience managing line personnel, technicians, supervisors_
- _
General understanding of planning & production control_
- _
Fluent English_
- _
Experience managing engineering areas (Process & Test)_
- _
NPI experience_
