Why CompuCom?
(Overview):
The Vendor Management manager role will be working closely with Solution Directors, legal, and procurement Business Process Outsourcing to analyze, develop, and drive category specific sourcing initiatives to meet and exceed business metrics in terms of cost, quality, service, and delivery.
In this role, you will develop, support, lead, and/ or manage the development of category strategies, multiple sourcing and process projects, continuous improvement plans, supplier SLA's, etc.
You will support/lead North America and possibly global procurement initiatives, industry benchmarking, and new ways to improve cash flow and time to task initiatives.
What We Need & What You'll Do (Responsibilities):
1.




Develop collaborative relationships with Business Stakeholders (including senior leadership) and suppliers.
2.
Provide leadership and management for categories and multiple procurement projects

3.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction are accomplished, both internally and externally

4.
Assessing current business and legal risks in existing and or new contracts

5.
Building accountability for supplier performance relative to contracted service levels

Who You Are (Qualifications):

- Level of Formal Education: Bachelors (Masters preferrered)
- Area of Study: Data science, engineering, finance, computer science, math or other related fields
- Years of Experience: 5+ years
- Type of Experience:

- Proficiency using MS Office
- Excel intermediate knowledge
- Work experience in procurement or a related field
- Familiarity with sourcing and / or procurement software
- Advanced knowledge of excel
- Preferred experience using ERP systems, CPIM and/or CPM certifications




- Proficient PC related skill
- Language Skills:

- Written and Oral English
- Technical Competencies:

- Strong Negotiation skills
- Good understanding of Temporary Labor and sub-contracting
- Ability to successfully manage critical projects in adherence to objectives and milestones
- Successful negotiation experience, contract development and execution
- Ability to understand business environment, requirements, and corporate culture
- Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strong planning, organizational, managing, financial, and analytical skills
- Exceptional interpersonal, motivational, and influential skills to engage business partners
- Strong leadership attributes and decision making abilities
