**Purpose of the Job**:
We are looking for a **Financial Planning Specialist **who will be part of this amazing and fast - growing Fintech.
This financial planning position will support projects & new initiatives with a broad scope and high impact for the business.
You will be responsible for major and complex assignments with long-term business implications, complex issues within functional area of expertise and contribute to the overall business strategy.
You will partner with different internal teams within Clip to help them plan and manage our new initiatives.
We hope to add to our team an individual with a diverse background that includes financial comprehension, FP&A;, modeling skills, data analytics experience,
and strong written communication skills.
As well as a strong team player with good inter-personal skills and enthusiasm to join our team.
**Education Level & Work Experience**:
Bachelor's degree in finance/economics/business or related field.
At least 3 years of experience in financial modeling and analysis (preferably in credit industry).
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment while maintaining a high level of precision.
**Key Responsibilities**:
1.
Fully understand new initiative line business, economics, and key stakeholders involved.
2.
Maintain and adapt initiative models with new growth requirements and improvements.
3.
Partner with key departmental stakeholders to provide financial and analytical support, including, but not
limited to financial services, P&T;, etc.
4.
Partner with accounting department to understand business drivers during month-end close processes.
5.
Prepare monthly and quarterly business review materials, with explanations about actual vs budget variances (KPIs, initiative drivers and P&L;)
6.
Support in budget and forecast processes for new initiatives.
7.
Analysis of new initiative´s impact in Core business.
8.
Develop financial models for new projects, analyzing profitability and impact to the company.
9.
Maintain and improve planning tools and processes.
**Technical knowledge**:
1.
Complex model building experience.
2.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and any ERP (Oracle NetSuite would be an asset), including the ability to build and navigate efficiently across robust data sets.
3.
Ability to create, execute, and interpret results of basic financial and accounting concepts such as Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Accounts, Departments, Accruals & Provisions.
4.
Ability to build cross-functional partnerships and work collaboratively.
5.
Fluency in English and Spanish.
