**The Team**

The Deal Services team in the Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB) partners closely with external and internal stakeholders,



including clients and client legal counsels, bankers and deal team leads, credit, legal, compliance and business management to provide efficient and timely support with the execution of live deals.
As a member of the team, your goal will be to assist Corporate Banking product and coverage teams by providing consistent, high quality deal support and client service.
**Key Responsibilities**

**Business Results** - Deliver the goals of the Investment and Corporate Bank, Deal Services team, and Digital Client Services
- Oversee day-to-day operational activities and business needs required to the completion of a deal, as well as the delivery of the team's strategic objectives
- Coordination of the completion of the different steps involved in a deal lifecycle through global deal lifecycle system, DealWorks
- Proactive management and prioritization of the deal pipeline to enable capacity planning and timely execution of deal lifecycle milestones
- Evaluate unique/special business and operational situations and tailor solutions for non-standardized deal and client requirements




- Ensure strict adherence to operational procedures, as well as control and compliance requirements
- Consistently follow up on outstanding tasks and escalations with relevant stakeholders and with the right sense of urgency
- Ensure delivery of an excellent client experience, measuring and tracking client experience for both internal and external clients
- Able to spot 'red flags', identify problems, determine and propose next steps and takes action to escalate or resolve
- Work closely with process partners and stakeholder teams (Wholesale KYC Operations, Finance & Business Management, Business Control Office, Line of Business Compliance, Global Financial Crime Compliance, Legal, Bankers, and Sales) to meet client needs and implement best in class processes
- Contribute to alignment and transfer of knowledge,



processes and practices across Deal Services teams
- **Client / Customer focus - Identify and deliver appropriate solutions that address the needs of clients and customers**:

- Build a strong network and relationship with key stakeholders (Wholesale KYC Operations, Finance & Business Management, Business Control Office, Line of Business Compliance, Global Financial Crime Compliance, Legal, Bankers, and Sales)
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment while managing your responsibilities
- Ensure the team operates as the primary operations contact for all Clients and Bankers
- Ensure a good and smooth relationship with our key stakeholders, e.g.
Bankers, Compliance, Controls, Finance and Business Management, Legal, other Client Services/Ops teams to enable the best client experience and controls environment




- Ensure all tasks are processed within the agreed service level agreements to minimize disruption and qualitatively enhance the client experience, along the line with reducing risk.
- Maintain focus on client centricity and the client journey, ensuring end-to-end connectivity across the CIB and JPM (Banking, Markets, Private Bank etc.)
- **Teamwork & Leadership - Foster a collaborative and inclusive environment while managing your responsibilities**
- Create and maintain consistency regarding processes and operating model across sub
- teams
- Ensure that the team is providing the best-in-class client service to Bankers and JPM's clients
- Contribute to the development of relevant procedures and document agreed approaches
- Identify training and performance needs; design and deliver solutions to address gaps
