Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in software sales and account management at a business-to-business software company.
- 10 years of sales experience in the technology industry with SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS products and platforms.
- Experience working in the public sector, education, or academic research.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience selling enterprise software with innovative products.
- Experience successfully working on large, complex commercial and legal agreements with procurement, legal, and business teams.
- Ability to partner with sales engineers and customer's technical leads to inventory existing software estate, define migration plans,
and build business cases for migrations.

As a Field Sales Representative covering the Public Sector, you will leverage existing relationships with C-level executives, develop new relationships, and act as a trusted business partner to understand unique company challenges and goals.

**Responsibilities**:
- Build executive relationships with public sector customers, determine long-term strategic direction, and serve as a business partner.
- Discuss and manage the business cycle, often presenting to C-level executives in public sector customers.
- Lead account strategy in generating/developing business growth opportunities, and partner with Customer Engineers and Google Partners to optimize business results.
- Understand each customer's technology footprint, strategic growth plans, business drivers, technology strategy, and competitive landscape.
- Drive business development, forecast accurately, and achieve strategic goals by leading customers through the entire business cycle.
