Momentum and growth in MexicoIn 2022, we ventured into the Mexican market, and since then, we have built a small team that supports our growth and development across Mexico.
Today, we have more than 50+ top-tier institutions that work closely with us to test and certify their students using our innovative mobile app.
We want to continue to grow our presence in this market, through:Signing up new clients (educational institutions, employers, government agencies)Supporting our Account Manager to continuously build relationships to grow our usage with our existing clientsBuilding strong relationships and identifying opportunities with government projects and other large-scale English testing projectsWhat's the role?We want someone on the ground in Mexico with the 'X' on their head to make this happen.
You will own the plan, the execution and the results.
Through your familiarity with the Mexican context, your network, and your commercial flair you will be able to shape the right plan to achieve the outcomes.While you will be expected to act with some autonomy,
you should assume that your activities and responsibilities will include the following:Pipelines: While you will get marketing support from central teams, you should own the development and progression of sales pipelines (employers and education), and the ultimate results as measured in signed up accounts and revenue.Key accounts: Own the development of commercial relationships with marquee clients (universities, employers) and partners (ecommerce, EdTech, government, education and industry); bringing in network connections, and senior players from EnglishScore and British Council as required.Governance: Chair a weekly/fortnightly working group of participants from the EnglishScore central team and the British Council local teams.About youYou understand and are excited about this opportunity.
