***About the Role**
The Upfield Procurement Team is responsible to develop, implement and execute best practice procurement principles, such as develop long term supplier relationships, vendor performance indicators, and sourcing procedures.
The Team identifies and implements solutions in alignment with the cross functional teams.
They constantly strive to implement efficiencies in their portfolio through negotiations and through alternate material specifications.
You are responsible leading the LatAm Procurement Team consisting of five procurement specialists, leading 3rd Party Manufacturing, and direct, and indirect category spends.
You'll also serve as the "go-to" person acting as the primary liaison between suppliers and internal business areas to support collaborative Procurement, R&D;, Plant, and Marketing strategic initiatives; Financial analytical support is also key in your role.
In addition, you will support innovation in the following categories, margarines, creams, and cheese.
You will act as the liaison amongst Global Procurement, Legal, Supply Chain, R&D;, and the Brand Marketing team.
**Your Main Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for leading the LatAm procurement team in the sourcing and manufacturing of various products by leveraging the end-to-end sourcing and stakeholder engagement process.
- Develop strategic partnerships and negotiate pricing, NDAs, Master Agreements, Amendments, Addendums, and renewals with vendors and 3PM's, aligning both with Global Procurement team, and Legal.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to continually improve supplier performance through effective contract and supplier performance management methodologies.
- Set goals and drive KPI's in accordance with the global Procurement vision.
- Manage the strategies for savings, innovation, as well as supplier identification and negotiation.
- Responsible for communicating and stakeholder management, which includes the LatAm Leadership Team.
- Lead Value Creation Workshops for current products and new innovations

**Minimum Requirements**:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum 10 years of procurement experience with global consumer packaged goods or pharmaceutical companies.
- Potential travel 25%
- Must be able to work in SAP, Ariba, and Power BI - training provided.
- Must be able to work independently and lead a high performing team
- extremely motivated in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple activities.
- Ability to cultivate strong collaborative working relationships and contacts within a work group, across other company functions and with external organizations.
- Proven ability to lead and influence others,
with the goal of driving meaningful change results.
- Ability to gather and analyze data from multiple sources, prepare spreadsheets, charts, graphs, and tables of information and to plan and prioritize multiple work assignments.
- Fluent in English is a must
- Experience in FMCG required
