The IT Quality Group Manager is accountable for management of complex/critical/large professional disciplinary areas.
Leads and directs a team of professionals.
Requires a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within a function and how they interact in order to achieve the objectives of the function.
Applies in-depth understanding of the business impact of technical contributions.
Strong commercial awareness is a necessity.
Generally accountable for delivery of a full range of services to one or more businesses/ geographic regions.
Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level.
Some external communication may be necessary.
Accountable for the end results of an area.




Exercises control over resources, policy formulation and planning.
Primarily affects a sub-function.
Involved in short
- to medium-term planning of actions and resources for own area.
Full management responsibility of a team or multiple teams, including management of people, budget and planning, to include performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions and terminations and budget approval.
**Responsibilities**:

- Software quality assurance testing.
- Leads and directs a team of professionals.
- Requires a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within a function and how they interact in order to achieve the objectives of the function.
- Applies in-depth understanding of the business impact of technical contributions.
- Accounts for delivery of a full range of services to one or more businesses/ geographic regions.
- Deals with complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact.
- Ensures the IT organization is defining and implementing its IT Quality control plans to meet business strategy and goals.




- Drives innovative quality strategies that support technological change.
- Analyzes trends at an organizational level to improve processes; follows and analyzes industry trends.
- Develops and implements methods for cost, effort and milestones of IT Quality activities.
- Exhibits in-depth understanding of concepts and procedures within own area and basic knowledge of these elements in other areas.
- Requires in-depth understanding of how IT Quality integrates within overall technology and has commercial awareness.
- Evaluates subordinates' performance and makes decisions on pay increases, promotions, terminations, etc.
- Uses evaluative judgment in complicated or novel situations; uses multiple sources of information.
- Impacts IT Quality through planning, finances/budget, end results and setting policies.




- Requires excellent communication skills to negotiate with others at a senior level; may communicate with external parties.
- Manages a team that will handle Defect Management, conduct sanity checks post deployment, defect QC and documentation.
- Performs other duties and functions as assigned.
**Qualifications**:

- 10+ years experience in an IT Quality role with commensurate experience in people management.
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel
- Self-motivated and detail oriented
- Proven influencing and relationship management skills
- Proactive leadership and motivational skills

**Education**:

- Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred





We seek for an executive and hands-on professional with experience in software development/testing life cycle, Citi products/procedures end-to-end knowledge, influencing skill for effective leadership, promoting team's collaboration across functions and line of businesses.
**Key responsibilities**
- Manage the Performance testing across the program LOBs and Functions and acts as a single point of contact for Performance/Non-Functional Test (NFT)
- Identify functional defects arising during performance testing by working hand in hand with the functional testing teams, ensuring KPIs and action plans are defined
- Work with performance engineering teams on testing the fixes
- Identify production SLA variance across the eco systems per business flow and point out the bottlenecks
- Manage the constraints by using SIT environment, Stubs, Virtualization




- Partners with outside vendors, clients, and partners in the coordination of testing efforts and process initiatives
- Performs other duties and functions as assigned

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree required in Management, computer system engineering or related.
- 10+ years of professional experience in Operations and/or Technology areas
- Fluent in Spanish and English is required
- More than 7 years of experience in Testing Program Management, managing complex implementation projects
- Thorough understanding of end-to-end testing processes, Quality Center and other testing related tools as Jira/Zephyr
