Summary
- The Director of Operations is responsible for identifying and implementing Operations, Materials,
- Program Management, Engineering and Facilities resources and processes required to ensure that
- our Customers' product cost, quality and availability goals are achieved for Mack Technologies
- Juarez, Mexico site.
Reports to the Vice President of Operations.
Position is responsible for site
- Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, Operations Cost, and Customer Satisfaction.

**Responsibilities**:

- ?
Develop plans to ensure proper manufacturing capacity exists to meet current and future




- requirements.
- ?
Manage, motivate, develop, train, and reward site management team.
- ?
Establish programs to drive continuous improvement in all areas of the company.
Experience
- in implementing TPS (Toyota Production System) or similar is highly desirable.
- ?
Make recommendations and implement projects to improve productivity, quality and efficiency
- of operations.
- ?
Oversee the development and management of departmental budgets, capital requirements
- and expenditures, and staffing requirements.
- ?
Ensure customer satisfaction goals are obtained.
- ?
Ensure profit goals are attained.
- ?
Establish and maintain strong customer relationships through performance that result in
- profitable recurring business plus providing the opportunities for growing into additional new
- business.
- ?
Drive a SIOP (Sales Inventory and Operations Planning) Process to provide resulting in
- accurate forecasts of existing business, as well as new product introductions.
- ?




Manage company assets in support of profitability and return on assets (ROA) goals.
- ?
Work closely with Supply Chain Director to develop and implement initiatives to optimize cost
- and delivery requirements.
- ?
Determine and manage departmental performance metrics.
- ?
Monitor headcount and material availability to ensure Operations achieves maximum levels of
- efficiency.
- ?
Support, dissemination and management of security procedures in support at plant
- level of C-TPAT policy / Ensure plant compliance with C-TPAT procedures
- ?
Prepares and maintain readiest for scheduled or unscheduled C-TPAT Validations by
- the U.S. CBP
- ?
Support the continuous improvement process by ensuring participation in quality teams,
- reviewing and implementing engineering change orders (ECO's), driving new product




- introductions and following through on corrective action requests (CAR's).
- ?
Develop, review and modify operations' procedures as needed.
- ?
Work closely with HR to develop cost effective training programs.
- ?
Ensure linkages to central functions (HR, Finance and IS) to support operations' needs and the
- company's business requirements.
- ?
Nurture an environment that promotes teamwork and continuous improvement.
- ?
Responsible for the cleanliness of work area and surrounding work space.
- ?
Participate in quality and management meetings as required.
- ?
May be required to travel to other Mack facilities.
- ?
Guide and lead other members of management.
- ?
Other responsibilities as directed and necessary for the business.
**Qualifications**:

- ?
Bachelor's degree in related field.
- ?




Lean Expert and/or Six Sigma green/black belt a plus.
- ?
Minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing management.
- ?
Bilingual English/Spanish is required.
- ?
A strong background in managing a PCA assembly and system assembly manufacturing
- operation.
- ?
Experienced with Mexico manufacturing is required.
- ?
Awareness of ISO9001, ISO13485, ISO14001
- ?
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, outstanding organization skills, and a
- proven track record of cost management in a world class manufacturing operation.
- ?
The ability to lead in a multi-tasking, highly dynamic work environment.
- ?
A hands-on team player,



with customer interface experience.
