Application Development Analyst, IT - PDM/PLM (PTS) is a technical expert in using the Microsoft software development toolset including
**Responsibilities**:
- Supports Gates PDM/PLM software as used by manufacturing locations
- Develops PDM/PLM solutions requiring analysis and research
- Works on small to large, complex projects that require skill in multiple technical environments and possesses knowledge in one or more of the following areas: technical specifications, product bill of materials, database queries and stored procedures
- Works on one or more projects as a project team member or sometimes as a project lead.
May coach more junior technical staff
- Ability to communicate technical issues,
plans and solutions from both a business perspective and a technical perspective providing pros and cons for recommended solutions pertaining to PDM/PLM
- Implements technical solutions for PDM/PLM issues
- Aids manufacturing technical staff and to engineering staff in matters of PDM/PLM systems
**SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

This position will play the role of individual contributor with no supervisory responsibilities.
Collaborates with a team of techno-functional resources onsite and offshore ensure a stable operating system environment and timely execution of assigned projects.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- B.S.
in Engineering, Computer Science or related field
- At least 5-7 years of direct experience with software development, support and data ETL

**REQUIRED SKILLS**:
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server
- Familiarity with source control (e.g., Git or TFS)
- Experience in software development
- Experience with source control systems
- Experience in communicating with technical staff about PDM/PLM issues and requirements
- Experience in constructing technical documentation
