**Role at a glance**:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our DevOps team as a Junior DevOps Engineer.
In this role, you will work closely with senior DevOps Engineers and other team members to support the implementation of DevOps principles and practices across our organization.
You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with a wide range of technologies and tools while contributing to the continuous improvement of our software development and deployment processes.
**Role and Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of infrastructure resources such as servers, databases, networks,



and cloud environments.
- Support the implementation and automation of CI/CD pipelines to streamline the software development process, including code builds, testing, and deployment.
- Manage version control systems (e.g., Git) to ensure code repositories are maintained, organized, and accessible to the development team.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of monitoring and logging systems to track system performance, identify issues, and troubleshoot problems.
- Support the configuration management process by managing configuration files, scripts, and templates to ensure consistency across environments.
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to facilitate communication, share best practices, and promote a culture of collaboration between development and operations teams.




- Develop scripts and automation tools to streamline repetitive tasks, improve efficiency, and reduce manual intervention in the software development lifecycle.
- Assist in the implementation of security best practices, including vulnerability scanning, access control, and compliance monitoring, to ensure the integrity and security of systems and data.
- Document processes, procedures, and configurations to maintain an organized and up-to-date knowledge base for the DevOps team.
- Continuously learn new technologies, tools, and practices in the DevOps ecosystem to stay updated with industry trends and contribute to the growth and improvement of the team.
**Requirements and qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Strong interest in DevOps principles and practices.




- Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems administration.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Bash, Python, Perl).
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Any relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Docker Certified Associate) are a plus.
- NodeJs, JavaScript, Python are a plus.
