Job Description
Job Title:
Functional Area Signage and Buses Manager, Wasserman Live Location: Charlotte
Reports to: Wayfinding and Look Lead, Wasserman Live
Job Summary:
The Functional Area Signage Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of functional area signage management for the FIFA Club World Cup 2025. This includes receiving orders for FA signage, managing their production, ensuring proper collation and storage in the warehouse, coordinating shipments to the correct venues, and ensuring timely installation and dismantling of FA signage. Additionally, considering this role is part-time until August 2025, this role is also responsible for the planning, installation, rebranding, and budget management of the dressing of team and official transport buses for the event. The role requires strong coordination with the production team, FIFA on-site functional area leads, and other key stakeholders to ensure all signage and bus dressing are delivered, installed, and dismantled in accordance with the event schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
FA Signage
·Order Management:
- Receive and review signage orders from various functional areas within FIFA.
- Upload orders to the Quest system, ensuring all data is accurate and complete for tracking purposes.
·Production Coordination:
- Work closely with the production team to monitor and track the progress of signage production, ensuring timelines are met and any production delays are communicated promptly.
- Maintain an up-to-date overview of all signage production and delivery timelines.
·Warehouse Management:
- Oversee the collation of signage in the warehouse, ensuring items are stored securely and accurately according to their assigned venues.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to confirm all signage is available for distribution.
·Shipping and Delivery:
- Coordinate the shipment of collated signage to the correct venues, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Work with logistics to ensure all signage is delivered to the appropriate locations in line with event timelines.
·Delivery Documentation:
- Ensure delivery notes are signed by the relevant functional area lead from FIFA at each venue, confirming receipt of signage.
- Maintain records of signed delivery notes for tracking and accountability purposes.
·Installation and Dismantling Management:
- Manage the installation of FA signage that needs to be displayed at the venues, ensuring that all signage is correctly positioned and securely installed according to event requirements.
- Coordinate the dismantling of FA signage at the conclusion of the event, ensuring all items are safely removed and accounted for.
·Reporting:
- Create and maintain installation reports, detailing the status of installed signage, locations,
and any issues encountered during installation.
- Produce dismantling reports, documenting the removal and return of all signage, including any discrepancies or damages.
·Collaboration and Communication:
- Serve as the main point of contact between FIFA, the signage production team, and on-site event teams, ensuring smooth communication and issue resolution throughout the signage lifecycle.
- Provide timely updates to FIFA and other stakeholders regarding the status of signage production, delivery, installation, and dismantling.
·Quality Control:
- Ensure that all signage meets FIFA's branding and quality standards before, during, and after installation.
- Identify and resolve any issues related to signage quality, placement, or condition.
Dressing of Buses:
- Planning and Coordination:
Develop a detailed plan for the dressing of team and official transport buses, including design concepts and timelines for installation.
- Rebranding: Coordinate any rebranding efforts for transport vehicles, including the design, production, and application of new branding materials.
- Budget Creation and Management: Create a budget for the dressing of buses, ensuring all costs are accounted for and managed efficiently.
- Installation and Oversight: Oversee the installation of bus branding, ensuring that all materials are applied according to specifications and on schedule.
- Collaboration: Work closely with transport teams, design teams, and production vendors to ensure the timely and accurate execution of bus dressing.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all bus branding adheres to FIFA’s quality and branding standards.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, signage management, or event operations, ideally within the sports or entertainment industries.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale signage installations and logistics for major events.
- Experience with vehicle branding or bus dressing is highly desirable.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Quest, or similar tools) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing requirements in a fast-paced environment.
Education:
- A degree in Logistics, Event Management, Project Management, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
