What you will doMonitor and research trends in the industry as well as "Best Practices" and pursue and adopt these as appropriate for assigned commodity area.Solicit bids, lead auctions, negotiate with suppliers, make recommendations, qualify and contract with new vendors.Manage internal customer relationships by leading cross-functional sub-category teams,
developing deep category knowledge, and aggressively tracking and improving non-compliance with preferred supplier(s).Maintain a good level of public relations with outside suppliers as well as a strong partnership with internal stakeholders.Manage and optimize functional sourcing support activities while ensuring adherence to client's corporate standards.Draft and/or evaluate scorecards.
Conduct complex supplier performance validation events and drive improvement initiatives.Conduct complex/adhoc supplier profiling and financial risk assessment.
Should be able to do industry benchmarking and market intelligence reports independently.What you should bringEducation: Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering or similar.Experience:
3 - 7+ years previous strategic sourcing work experience.Managing the Strategic Sourcing process, RFX auctions process, procurement process experience.Management of indirect categories such as: MRO, CAPEX, MKT, IT, PROFESSIONAL SERVICES, LOGISTICS.Languages: required to be fluent in English, B2+/C1.Execute complex and strategic sourcing projects of categories/sub-categories to include: translating business requirements into clear statements of work, soliciting bids, leading auctions.Should prepare negotiation scripts and negotiate with suppliers, make recommendations, help onboard, qualify and contract with new vendors, and ensure compliance.Skills: Effective influencer who can make persuasive arguments.Negotiation skills include building eAuction strategies.Excellent communication – written and verbal.Familiarity with Microsoft Office suites, Outlook, ERP/P2P systems knowledge (RQ).
