The Role:
We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer who will be part of this amazing and fast - growing fintech and the team responsible for software and tools to support and implement PayClip's core money-out processing infrastructure.
S/He will develop and experiment programs with different technologies.
What will I do?
- Design, develop, and experiment with software programs using a diverse range of technologies.
- Innovate and explore new technologies to connect with Clip customers effectively.
- Cultivate expertise in content usage and customer insights, shaping our strategy.
- Utilize Java 8+ / GO, AWS, Testing, Maven, Design Patterns, Databases (relational, key-value, document), and Agile Methodology to drive project success.
Optional: unit & functional testing, Monitoring & Metrics
- Thrive in a data-driven culture, making strategic and immediate decisions based on analytics.
- Communicate effectively, providing insights into strategic priorities.
- Senior in Java/GO development, Agile development, design patterns, testing, and other software engineering principles and processes.
- Solid understanding of internet and IP communications protocols and formats such as TCP/IP, HTTP, JSON, etc.
- Senior in Linux/Unix and comfortable with Mac.
- Knowledge of AWS/Cloud and Docker.
- Solid understanding of RESTful service architecture and API.
