Manager, Corporate Safety and Security - MexicoThe Global Safety and Security team is responsible for advancing DoorDash through the protection of people, property, operations, brand and reputation. We manage safety and security risk and deliver value across the business through agility, technology, and a people-first approach. About the RoleDoorDash is looking for an experienced Manager, Corporate Safety and Security to oversee and lead safety and security operations, programs, and initiatives in Mexico. Based at our Mexico City office, you will work closely with site leadership, Workplace Experience, IT, HR,



and other cross-functional partners to create an inclusive, safe, and welcoming environment for employees and guests while effectively enforcing physical security policies and standards. This role will directly contribute to shaping industry-leading safety and security functions, and requires exceptional leadership, unwavering integrity, excellent communication skills, and a strong bias for action.
You're excited about this opportunity because you will…Be on the front-line working hands-on to protect DoorDashBe a standard bearer, manage, and execute safety and security functionsWork directly with large and diverse groups of employees and guestsAssist with the production and maintenance of Emergency Response PlansOversee emergency response training and lead site Emergency Response TeamLead safety and security awareness training at the site levelMaintain relationships with local law enforcement and emergency servicesAssist with threat assessment, site-specific security risk analysis, and safety auditsEnsure the accuracy and quality of emergency and incident reporting at the site levelWork with site leadership,



Workplace Services, HR, IT, and other cross-functional partnersBe responsible for safety and security asset maintenance, repair, and trackingOversee badge issuance, access control, and guest management at the site levelCoordinate and lead event security operations for on and off-site company eventsAssist with site-specific safety and security vendor and supplier managementLead and supervise assigned security personnel and security contractorsWork with industry-leading security systems and technologyHelp develop, integrate, and oversee culturally attuned safety and security policies, programs, procedures, standards,



and processesWe're excited about you because…You have a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experienceYou have 5+ years of experience in a related security management roleYou served in the Mexican Naval Infantry or Mexican Naval IntelligenceYou have security leadership experience at a large multinational companyYou have exceptional leadership skills and the ability to motivate and influence team members and cross-functional partners positivelyYou are driven with a strong bias for action and have demonstrated experience setting and achieving aggressive performance objectivesYou are outcome-focused and set time-bound and measurable targets for your teamsYou are resilient and able to adapt to dynamic and high-stress situations quicklyYou take radical ownership of your work and performance and can effectively give and receive performance feedbackYou thrive in fast-paced, demanding environments where you are often managing multiple priorities and forced to make decisions with limited informationYou have excellent critical thinking skills,



strong attention to detail, and the ability to forecast second and third-order effects of actionsYou have exceptional written and oral communication skills, to include the ability to deescalate tense or hostile situationsYou have extensive experience working with access control, video surveillance, and mass notification systemsYou are a G Suite and Slack power user and are comfortable working on macOS, Chrome OS, and Windows-based systemsYou have a valid driver's license, and have advanced medical training; AHA Heartsaver and BLS Certification and Instructor Certifications preferredYou have the ability to stay on your feet for several hours at a time, walk long distances,
