The Data Architect develops high-level integrated processes aligned with enterprise needs. It is expected to set data architect principles, create models of data, testing and keep data integrity in order to provide Data Marts to facilitate data to the MIS team.
Education and specific Training:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field required.
Work experience:
- 2+ years of experience
- Extensive experience in SQL (Procedures, T-SQL, functions, grouping by sets, variables, etc)
- Strong experience in Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio
- Desirable MS SQL performance tuning
- Experience working with Entity Relationship and Star Schemas models.
- Extensive ETL working experience.




- Experience in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) preferred.
- Desired knowledge of Cozyroc
- Desired experience working in Cognos Turbo Integrator
- Awareness of Data Architecture principles.
- Desired experience in SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)
- Desired experience in Cognos TM1 and Cognos Analytics
- Desired experience in SQL Server Reporting Services
- Excellent troubleshooting and optimization skills.
- Ability to provide guidance to offshore developers and to lead
robust data activities
