DUTIES
SUMMARY
We are looking for an experienced Sales Representative that has been in the electronics industry focused on Audio, Video and Tech.
This individual will have current relationships with category buyers however, past relationships is an added plus. Someone who is results driven with excellent interpersonal skills. Making cold calls to identify and actively seek out new potential leads, educate prospects on products and services through meetings, trainings, and presentations. While providing existing customers with exceptional customer service support. You will provide complete and appropriate solutions for every customer in order to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels and profitability.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to complete each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Serves customers by selling products and meeting customer needs
- Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors
- Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor
- Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers
- Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature
- Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses
- Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques
- Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments
- Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
- Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working with and has relationships with buyers at: Walmart, Sam’s, Costco,Chedraui, Elektra, Soriana, City Club, Liverpool, Palacio del Hierro and Comer - a book of business is essential to the business and the position
- Ability to travel within Mexico and the US
- Must have dealt with electronics and other category buyers in major retails: General
Merchandise, Home Improvements, Pharmacies, Furniture, Clubs, Department Stores and other Specialty Stores
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required in: Marketing, Promotions, Advertising Sales, or Business Administration or in a related field
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in sales of electronics
