To lead assigned of a group of employees on production floor; may be required to perform same work as that of the group.
**To fulfill this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.**

**unctions***:
- Establishes work priorities in conjunction with supervisor.
- Receives assignments from supervisor,



then assigns and trains members of the group in a safe manner following the correct work procedures and performances required.
- Plans work to be performed by the group.
- Determines and authorizes team/individual overtime as production needs require.
- Assists assigned personnel in resolving on-the-job technical problems.
- Arranges for necessary tools and supplies.
- Utilizes vendors' supply catalogs and training manuals as needed.
- Inspects, coordinates, and records work performed by the group.
- Completes time slips for work done.
- Assigns time and material charges to appropriate account numbers.
- Determines working procedures to accomplish repair and maintenance work for each job.
- Refers problems involving job discipline and employee performance to supervisor.
- Substitutes for supervisor in his/her absence.
- Relieves employees in the group during breaks, lunch, etc.
- Keeps spare parts inventory in work area for the repairing and maintenance function of the group.
- Performs other related duties and projects as required by management.

**Education and Experience**:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
**Special Requirements/Certification**:
- None.
**Communication Skills***:
- Must possess proficient English skills, both written and verbal.
- Must possess effective oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel in a professional and effective manner.




- Ability to communicate clearly with employees, management, and team members.
- Ability to convey information in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to communicate effectively in a multi-cultural business environment.
**Knowledge and Abilities**:

- Ability to learn dental terminology.
- Ability to learn to use handheld power tools.
- Basic proficiency with operating computers.

- Ability to constantly stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.
- Ability to frequently climb stairs at some locations.
- Ability to frequently push and/or pull up to twenty-five (25) pounds.
- Ability to frequently lift or carry up to twenty-five (25) pounds.




- Ability to function in an environment with frequent interruptions.
- Ability to deliver quality results under high pressure deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to demonstrate manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
- Ability to manipulate hand-held instruments such as spatulas and carvers to make precision movements.
