**Job Overview**:
We are seeking a diligent and results-driven Collections/ Customer Support Agent to join our team.
The Agent plays a crucial role in maintaining positive relationships with clients while effectively recovering outstanding balances.
**Responsibilities**:
- Contacting Debtors:_
- Initiate contact with debtors through phone calls.
- Conversational english and comprehension is required.
- Clearly communicate the nature of the debt and establish a cooperative dialogue.
- Negotiating Payment Plans:_
- Assess the financial situation of debtors and negotiate realistic and achievable payment plans.
- Provide information on alternative payment options to facilitate debt resolution.




- Documentation and Reporting:_
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all communication with debtors.
- Generate reports on collections activities, outstanding balances, and progress towards collection goals.
- Compliance:_
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations governing debt collection practices.
- Follow ethical and legal standards in all interactions with debtors.
- Customer Service:_
- Address debtor inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Provide assistance and guidance to help debtors understand their financial obligations.
**Qualifications**:
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a customer service agent.
- Some understanding of debt collections is preferred.
- Experience with SAP, or other CRMs is a Plus.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in using collection softwareS and or Microsoft Office Suite.
