We are seeking a strategic Automation Business Development Manager for the Mexican market, serving our General Industry and Motor Vehicle Industry business lines.
Develop and strengthen strategic partnerships with our customers by providing automated solutions for their different assembly challenges proving our value towards their different processes.
To be successful in this role, you will lead with a consultative approach to provide complex assembly solutions specific to the needs of the customer. Extensive traveling is required in this position, mainly within Mexico but also internationally when required

Play a key role in Atlas Copco’s goal to become a market leader in flexible automation focused on the incorporation of Atlas Copco products and solutions for the General Industry and Motor Vehicle business lines

Responsibilities of this position include but not limited to:_**
- The line of report will be directly to the Marketing Manager and dotted line to the MVI & GI BLM´s.
- Identify new sales opportunities and market potentials within the Mexican Market in regards of automation
- Be an expert understanding of automation today and the future of automation by being the leader in automation within our organization and coach when needed and sell when necessary
- Develop and deploy sales strategies/tools to our sales force to ensure we are best prepared to succeed in the sale of automation solutions
- Engage in customer site visits to identify market opportunities together with the sales team and build customer confidence by evaluating and understanding customer needs for automated assembly solutions, including utilizing various forms of machine vision for tool guidance




- Act as key stakeholder in new projects and programs focused on automation and new product solutions to better understand customer manufacturing and assembly needs
- Interact with customer management and engineering to identify their key business drivers and understand their decision-making process for automation opportunities
- Coordinate various resources to successfully propose solutions based on customer requirements and constraints and Support Proposal Managers with automation cost estimating and content accuracy
- Evaluate new opportunities to ensure we are proposing the right type of solution for the scope, considering cycle time, station characteristics, etc.
- Lead the development, launch, and continuous improvement of our automation sales strategy and material in collaboration with all departments within the organization




- Create and present station simulations to Sales and customers, validating the solution meets customer expectations
- Collaborate with global automaton team on development of standard offerings, solution benchmarking and expertise support for RFQ input and resource support
- Identify best practices across the industry regarding automation and tightening systems
- Motivate and inspire the sales team to sell automated solutions driving customer and sales engagement to identify market opportunities and create customer confidence
**What we expect of you**:
- Bachelor’s degree with concentration in engineering or business preferred
- Ability to explain technical concepts regarding our solutions in an appropriate manner when solving customer challenges
- Independent, success-motivated,



open minded and creative personality
- Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Proactivity, ability to plan and prioritize own work efficiently
- Team-player
- Ability to effectively interface with personnel at all levels; analytical, self-starter
- Fluent skills with various computer programs and databases including AutoCAD, SolidEdge and simulation software
- Support proposal development with process and station scope expertise, including on-site engagement with customers and sales
- Contribute to business and product development initiatives with a forward-thinking, must-win mindset
- Play a key role in Atlas Copco’s goal to become a market leader in Flexible Automation
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Any other language is a plus.




- This position can be located in cities with high connectivity such as Queretaro, Monterrey or CDMX.
