**A Day in the Life**:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field, engineer industrial, administration master’s degree is a plus
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience within planning & purchasing
- Experience with MRP is a must to be considered.
- APICS certification is highly desirable.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and establish effective work priorities.
- Working Knowledge in a manufacturing environment and experience with lean manufacturing
- Excellent Analytical,
planning, administrative a time management skill
- Capable of work efficiently under pressure with a high sense of urgency
- Excellent verbal and written skills in English language
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
- Performs supply chain and logistics functions such as material procurement, production planning, inventory control, outsourcing, vendor selection and distribution.
- Creates integrated processes among internal functions (e.g., operations, purchasing and logistics) and outside suppliers.
- Plans and analyzes activities related to the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials.
- Develops, implements, and maintains policies, procedures, and material control systems to reduce costs, streamline procedures, and implement solutions.
**SPECIALIST CAREER STREAM**:Typically an individual contributor with responsibility in a professional discipline or specialty.
Delivers and/or manages projects assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results. May act as a mentor to colleagues or may direct the work of other lower level professionals. The majority of time is spent delivering and overseeing the projects - from design to implementation - while and adhering to policies, using specialized knowledge and skills normally acquired through advanced education.

Requires a Baccalaureate degree (or for degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree which satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. - 214.2(h)( 4)(iii)(A) and minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
