**Summary of This Role**:
**What Part Will You Play?**:
- Chaos engineering - you’re expected to think laterally about how our systems might fail in theory, design tests to demonstrate how they behave in practice, and then formulate and implement remediation plans, as appropriate.
- Use practices from DevOps and GitOps to improve automation and processes to make self service possible.
- Safeguarding reliability. Ensuring that our services are highly available, resilient against disasters, self-monitoring, and self-healing.
- Reviewing designs with an eye toward increasing the holistic stability of our platform and identifying potential risks.
- Building systems to proactively monitor the health,



performance and security of our production infrastructure.
- Improving our monitoring and alerting systems to make sure engineers get paged when it matters (and don’t get paged when it doesn’t).
- Evolving our SDLC, practices, and tooling to account for Site Reliability considerations and best practices.
- Developing runbooks and improving documentation.
- Undertake continuous service reviews, and generate ideas for improvements and implement when appropriate.
- Respond to moderately complex issues and see through resolution. Escalating to senior management when appropriate.
- Writing scripts as per the requirement to generate various data reports.
- Perform production support activities that involve the assignment of issues and issue analysis and resolution within the specified SLAs.
- Suggest fixes to complex issues by doing a thorough analysis of the root cause and impact of the defect.
**What Are We Looking For in This Role?**:
**Minimum Qualifications**:
- BS in Computer Science, Information Technology,



Business / Management Information Systems or related field
- Typically minimum of 2 years relevant experience
- 2+ years of experience working in an AWS, Google, or Azure cloud environment.
- 2+ years of experience working with the Git version control system.
- 2+ years of SQL scripting experience.
- Bash, Python, and/or other programming or scripting experience. Solid scripting ability is important for this role.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Understanding of CI/CD concepts, containerization, and Microservices.
- Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile Software Development concepts.
- Strong communication (written, verbal, interpersonal) skills with the ability to connect with a wide variety of audiences, including clients and team members

- Supervision - Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments.
- Experience in Public and Private Clouds, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, OpenShift, Kubernetes or AWS EKS
- Analyzing the complete end to end flow by understanding the code(written in.net, react, C#) and fix it(if required).
- Strong technical knowledge about the relational/ non relational database, networking,



UNIX platform.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and able to handle different types of customer inquiries.
- Good understanding of various logging/ monitoring tools like New Relic, Kibana, Graylog.
