**Job Description**:
**The Opportunity**:
The Senior Compensation Analyst is an integral part of the Mattel's Global Compensation Team, responsible for providing functional support to Compensation Team Members and day-to-day administration of a variety of compensation related systems and programs.
The Senior Compensaton Analyst will develop deep understanding of systems used and will function as the go to expert on administration of our global programs.
**What Your Impact Will Be**:
- Develop deep working knowledge of Compensation systems to support the administration of programs and data integrity
- Performs day-to-day administration of the global recognition program and function as the first point of contact to answer employee questions
- Complete and submit global and local salary surveys utilizing employee information, company practices with the guidance of a Compensation Team member
- Develop working knowledge of market survey system to assist team in uploading data, perform market matching, create ad hoc analysis, etc.
- Consolidate data between global and regional teams to help in ensuring process consistency and process improvement
- Develop expertise in utilizing the Human Resources System to perform updates, create reports, develop audits, etc.
- Create excel/reporting solutions to streamline and automate existing processes.
- Other special projects as assigned
**Qualifications**:
**What We're Looking For**:
- Minimum 3 years as a coordinator, and/or HRIS/Reporting or similar data management role supporting a fast paced environment
- Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills specifically in Excel (formulas, vlookups, mail merge, etc.)
and PowerPoint
- Previous experience administering data systems and providing day-to-day assistance to end users strongly desired
- Strong analytic, organizational, and problem-solving capability
- Proven ability to improve and recommend digital solutions to manual processes
- Ability to multi-task and self-manage/prioritize in a busy environment
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with clients and team members
- Exceptional detail orientation and organization skills (with strong sense of urgency and follow up/follow through)
- Strong, clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to actively listen and accurately interpret directions and instructions
- Ability to think and illustrate 'big picture' focus as well as make sure the details are executed flawlessly
- Maintains composure in highly stressful or adverse situations; ability to adapt effectively to change
- Takes personal responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work and achieves results with little oversight
- 'Can-do' attitude and proactive, solution-focused individual
- Experience working with HCM systems and digitally enabled processes, PeopleSoft and/or Workday preferred
