Manage and support a safe, reliable, consistent and cost-competitive technology supporting Middleware Products for Latam
Provide management, support, maintenance and performance & tuning the Middleware software in Latam and ensuring their availability, security and integrity.
Work with the team to ensure that the associated Middleware products and to ensure availability and optimum performance.
Responsible for documenting day-to-day support activity in the company Help Desk system and providing regular updates to management.
Lead the projects assigned to integrate referential sources and feeds related to IT Asset Management solution.
This position requires a minimum of 5+ years of Distributed servers experience,
and in-depth knowledge of industry-standard technologies (e.g.
Java/J2EE,Weblogic,.Net,, Websphere, Web, IIS) and Strong Management and leadership skill.
General Roles and Responsibilities
Build a high-performance production support team with the right talent mix to exceed client expectations
Be responsible for problem management including managing outages, resolution, co-ordination with stakeholders and communication
Ensure control processes are in place in alignment with Citi policies
Provide 24x7 on call problem resolution
Support Engineering and Business projects.
Review request for changes (Business and Functional requirements, etc).
Troubleshoot to determine root cause of problems in Production environments
Implement workarounds and temporary fixes
Perform Application and Middleware logs analysis
End-end Incident tracking and client follow-up, including postmortem
EOL, EOS Track and fulfillment
Participate on Technical Audit review (ARR)
Support Engineering architecture definitions
Provide support to Capacity Planning and Performance Management teams
Coordinate Middleware Installations
**Qualifications**:
Requisite Knowledge/Capabilities
- Strong Management and Leadership skill.
- Strong knowledge on Middleware Solutions (e.g.
Java/J2EE,Weblogic,.Net, Web Logic, MQ, Websphere, SUN One Web, IIS, Siteminder, LDAP, security).
- Strong knowledge on UNIX, Wintel, Aix operating systems
- Strong background on the Unix with scripting (ssh, Shell, perl) with various platforms (AIX, Linux, Solaris)
