About the role As a partof the Analytics Tooling team, you will engage with internalcustomers to build tools and establish processes that define how wedo analytics at Zillow. The role involves working on the following:- ROBBIE (A greenfield LLM co-pilot on top of Zillow’s data toenable self-service analytics at Zillow) - Semantic Layer (A configdriven framework to centralize logic for business metrics) -Product Analytics (Currently using Amplitude) - BusinessIntelligence Tooling (Tableau, Mode Analytics etc) for reportingand dashboarding You will: - Participate in the architecture,implementation, and operations of tools and processes for gaininginsights from Terabytes of data.
- Collaborate with analysts,product managers, data scientists to understand their analyticalneeds and drive technical solutions. - Apply devops approach tocontinuously drive value for our end users while balancing supportburden. - Research and pioneer the adoption and use of newtechnologies within Zillow. - Drive process improvements thataffect hundreds of internal Zillow users. in Computer Science or a relateddiscipline - 5+ years of experience with building and maintainingfull stack applications - Strong background in Java or Python -Experience with front end frameworks like React/Vue.js etc. -History of leading projects independently at scale (company/orgwide) - Excellent interpersonal skills and passionate aboutcollaborating across organizational boundaries - Fluent in Englishand Spanish (both written and spoken). - Must be authorized to workin Mexico. Nice to have: - Passionate about data, analytics, anddistributed systems. - Experience with LLM and prompt engineering.- Experience working with cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP) -Experience with big data technologies (Spark, Flink, Kafka,Airflow, Databricks) - Experience with Product analytics tools suchas Amplitude, MixPanel, or BI Tools such as Tableau, Mode,Thoughtspot, Metabase, etc.
