.Mexico City, MEX, Mexico **and**1** more**(Hybrid)**BE THE FIRST TO APPLY**Global Data Insight & Analytics organization is looking for a DevOps Engineer focused on building and driving the strategy forward for our internal Data Science / AI / ML teams and platforms.
This role will work in a small, cross-functional team.
The position will collaborate directly and continuously with other engineers, business partners, product managers and designers, and will release early and often.RESPONSIBILITIES- Work closely with Tech Anchor, Product Manager and Development Team to Design, implement, and manage GCP-based infrastructure.- Innovate and standardize DevOps best practices.- Experiment,
innovate and share knowledge with the team.- Proficiency in using GIT for version control, git actions and collaboration.- Lead by example in use of Paired Programming for cross training/upskilling, problem solving, and speed to delivery.- Optimize and automate deployment pipelines and CI/CD processes.- Optimize cloud resource utilization and costs.- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.- Ensure security best practices are followed across our cloud infrastructure.- Experience with integration and performance testing, including scaling and load testing.- Integrate GCP services with existing on-premises infrastructure, including high-performance computing (HPC) systems.QUALIFICATIONS- English proficiency (written and verbal)- A bachelor's degree in computer science / computer engineering or similar technical discipline.- 3+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering.- Strong proficiency with GCP services (Cloud Run, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, Apigee, etc.
)- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.G., Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager)- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.G.,
Python, Bash, PowerShell)- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.G., Tekton, Cloud Build)- Strong problem-solving and communication skills- Experience in DevSecOps using tools such as Artifact Registry, Quay, SonarQube, Checkmarks, Fossa, etc.- Experience in container management solution: e.G., Kubernetes, Docker, GKE.- Knowledge of security practices in cloud environments.- Experience managing FIM groups and integrating with corporate SSO systemsDesired Skills- GCP Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer certification.- Understanding of MLOPs/Machine Learning Life Cycle and common machine learning frameworks: Sklearn, Tensorflow, Pytorch etc.
