**A Day in the Life**:**Careers that Change Lives**We are currently looking for a **Sr Supply Chain Manager **.
This position will provide Supply Chain leadership.This is an open position based in the TJ EL lago site part of the Mexico Hub SC operational Scheduling**A Day in the Life**In this role you will be responsible for all raw materials planning and scheduling, delivery, and day-to-day execution to meet service, cost,
and inventory objectives across a range of manufacturing value streams**Responsibilities will include but are not limited to**:- Serve as liaison to supply network planning, production scheduling, finance teams and plant operations with regards purchasing of raw materials, planning and scheduling- Build effective teams and develop direct reports and others.- Drive the Inventory Management Plan Raw Materials and WIP.
Ensures the plan includes stocking levels to meet customer requirements as well as achieving the company's financial objectives.
Work with other Medtronic facilities to maximize inventory efficiency at a global operations scale.- Develop and maintain effective relationships with vendors- Monitor supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, and delivery- Function skillfully as the key core team member for large-scale, complex projects providing value that reaches beyond the supply chain role.- Lead supply planning activities for new product launches within areas of responsibility.- Effectively manage the supply chain to meet and exceed KPI's relating to service levels, Manufacturing Schedule Adherence, Backlog,
net requirement attainment, inventory levels/inventory weeks- Champion initiatives to reduce working capital / costs.- Provide global communication of KPI and other related supply chain performance indicators.
**Qualifications - External****Must Have: Minimum Requirements**- Bachelors degree requiredMinimum of 10 years of relevant experience with 7+ years of managerial experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience with 5+ years of managerial experience**Nice to Have**- Degree in Business, Engineering, or Supply Chain- MS/MBA preferred- Medical Device/ Medical Supplies Manufacturing experience- Excellent statistical and mathematics skills- APICs CPIM/CSCP- Software skills including MS Office (Access & Excel focus)- Working knowledge of SAP,
JDE and/or BPCS- Demonstrated project management skills- Experience implementing/ utilizing LEAN/Six Sigma techniques a plus.- Knowledge of manufacturing, distribution planning, logistics, warehousing, or transportation
