We value and promote a diverse and inclusive workplace!About the role We are looking for a strong Senior iOS Engineer whois used to taking on and driving initiatives and bringing newideas—someone who holds their code to high standards and who is notafraid to give feedback on the product. Customer focus andcomfortability with cross-functional partnerships is a huge plus.You should be able to lead the teams’ technology stack to ensurewe’re building more robust, scalable, and operable systems. Ourideal candidate is also a technical leader who is passionate aboutmentorship and growing the potential of others. We embrace agilesoftware development practices, and believe deeply in buildingteams composed of all skills needed to deliver value (SDE, PM, SDM,SQE, Design, DE, etc). We have a couple teams working to givepeople the power to manage and ingest lots of media and data.Looking for an engineer that can help lead the teams’ technologystacks to ensure we’re building the more robust, scalable, andaffordable systems. - Work on the latest iOS technologies and architecturalpatterns to develop world-class mobile applications . - Contributeto outstanding full-stack mobile application development fromconcept to launch - Implement client-side features and server APIsand services to support planned mobile functionality - Collaboratewith an agile cross-team of developers, testers, designers &program; managers to build features that engage our users andunderstand their outstanding expectations - Consistently deliverperformant, testable, scalable, highly-readable code using OO bestpractices This role has been categorized as a teleworker position.Teleworkers do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and,instead, work from a physical location of their choice which mustbe identified to the Company. Employees may live in any part ofMexico, but preferably in Mexico City,
as we would encourageattendance for occasional in-office events. In addition to acompetitive base salary and benefits, this position is alsoeligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience,performance and location. Who you are Wondering if we're the rightteam for you? You'll excel in this team if you thrive on autonomy,seek out persistent problems, implement effective solutionsquickly, and you have: - BS/MS in Computer Science (or equivalentexperience) and 6+ yrs of experience - 5+ years of iOS experience(Strong knowledge of Objective-C and Swift as well as Swift-UI) -Experience in building and managing scalable platforms that supportvarious applications and brands. - Strong background inimplementing authentication and identity access managementsolutions to ensure secure and seamless user experiences for bothweb and mobile users.
- Ability to include and work closely withother engineers and other disciplines, most notably individuals inBE roles, product, and design. - Experience delivering quality codeon a deadline - Strong experience profiling for optimizingperformance and resource utilization. - The ability to work wellwith product management, design, and services to shape and defineproducts - Experience with Agile development processes - Theability to work well in a team setting - Fluent in English andSpanish (both written and spoken). - Must be authorized to work inMexico.
